Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Loop'd Family Connect ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Loop'd Technology LLC ("Loop'd," "we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

Loop'd Family Connect is a location-aware family coordination application that helps families manage tasks, schedules, and communication. The Service includes:

  • Location-based task reminders and geofencing
  • Shared family calendars and event management
  • Task and chore assignment and tracking
  • Real-time family member location sharing (with consent)
  • Communication and notification features

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children under 18 may use the Service only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who has agreed to these Terms.

By creating a family group and adding members, you represent that you have the authority to bind those members to these Terms or have obtained their consent.

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Track or monitor individuals without their knowledge and consent
  • Harass, stalk, or harm another person
  • Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization

Location Services

The Service uses location data to provide core functionality. By using location features, you acknowledge that:

  • Location sharing is voluntary and can be disabled at any time
  • You will only add family members who consent to location sharing
  • Location data accuracy may vary based on device and conditions
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on location data

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Loop'd Technology LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create within the Service (tasks, events, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription:

  • You agree to pay all applicable fees
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We are not responsible for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed tasks, incorrect location data, or communication failures.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOP'D TECHNOLOGY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loop'd Technology LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
